I create large, handcrafted sun catchers and hanging terrariums using coastal driftwood from the beaches of Northern California, a wide assortment of beads (from around the world) and mixed material. The glass, crystal prisms range in size from 2-6 inches in length. The glass terrariums range from 4-10 inches wide. Designed as window and outdoor decor, the pieces don’t just cast rainbows- they’re arranged with intentional color and balance, giving each piece a strong visual presence beyond just light.
I create both smaller pieces and larger, heavier designs (2-5 lbs) that work as indoor focal points as well as outdoor installations in gardens, patios, or trees. Recently, I’ve begun incorporating stainless steel wire to build more intricate, sculptural forms while keeping that raw, coastal feel. No two pieces are alike, and each is made to feel like a small, light-driven installation.
Everything is made by hand by me- no two pieces are the same.
