Kristen Burroughs received both her B.S. in Marine Science and her Certificate in Science Illustration from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), and now works at CSUMB as the Science Illustration Program Coordinator. She also works as a science illustrator and instructor, and has partnered with many organizations, including the Lyceum of Monterey County, Western Flyer Foundation, and Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, to lead workshops, classes and camps that focus on combining art and nature in the classroom and in the field. Kristen’s goal as an artist is to promote understanding and conservation of wildlife.
