Gregory Hawthorne is an ambitious individual who dedicates his life to art, family, and community. As a third generation artist, he has spent over 50 years creating. His paintings, functional steel designs, and mixed media sculptures are in private and corporate collections worldwide.
In 1995, Greg and his wife Susan founded the Hawthorne Gallery in Big Sur, CA, and still run the successful business today. In addition to Greg’s art, the gallery also represents work from 9 of his talented family members, and 18 additional artists.
Greg is proud to be involved with the Sand City art community and the West End Celebration since its inception.
His warehouse, filled with one-of-a-kind art, is open to the public during West End at 430 Ortiz Ave, Sand City, CA.
The Hawthorne Gallery is open daily at 48485 Highway 1, Big Sur, CA.
