I’m an up cycler here on the Monterey Bay who repurposes thrifted clothes into new incarnations. Stitching is my meditation and it has kept me sane through the last few election cycles. Reworking vintage clothing is SUSTAINABLE and my handiwork is sturdy, timeless and will last years, not months. It was all hand stitching for me at first, but Ive progressed to using a walking foot machine that gives me gorgeous, steady lines. By the way, Boss is REALLY my last name. So, there!
