Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP) is dedicated to identifying and rescuing in danger or at risk companion dogs and cats and ultimately finding and placing them in good permanent homes. As a 28-year-old foster-based rescue organization based right here on the Peninsula, AFRP places animals in loving temporary homes, providing them with all the medical, nutritional, and emotional support they need while we help find their perfect “forever home”.
